Also, hemp oil contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C, D, and E and many beneficial minerals, including calcium, magnesium, sulfur, potassium, iron, zinc, and phosphorus. The green color is the result of high levels of chlorophyll, which is present in the seeds. Chlorophyll has a tonic effect on the body. The high level of antioxidants in hemp oil helps prevent premature skin aging and strengthens the immune system. Recently, I dress almost all salads only with them, as well as sauces and cereals. Hemp oil, also known as hemp seed oil, is made from hemp, a cannabis plant like the drug marijuana but containing little to no tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the chemical that gets people “high.”
